Turbo Systems Attends Bishop Burton College’s Apprenticeship Expo

Our team had a fantastic day at Bishop Burton College yesterday, taking part in the Hull and East Riding Apprenticeship Expo. The event brought together students from across the region who were eager to explore their next steps, and we were excited to share what opportunities look like within the engineering and food processing machinery sector.

Our team's attendance at the Expo was a significant opportunity to showcase the dynamic career paths and rewarding apprenticeship opportunities available within our growing organisation.

Engaging with Engineers of Tomorrow

The Turbo Systems stand saw a consistent stream of enthusiastic students, parents and career changers keen to learn how Turbo Systems can shape and influence their careers. Our representatives, including past and present apprentices, experienced engineers, and administration staff, provided invaluable insights into the daily life and technical challenges at Turbo Systems.

The focus of the event was to help demonstrate how our apprentices gain hands-on experience from day one, contributing to real-world projects in a supportive, high-tech environment. Attendees were particularly interested in our commitment to combining training with nationally recognised qualifications, all while earning a competitive salary.

Over the course of the day, over 1,500 people came through the doors! This worked out as just over 1,000 attending with education settings during the daytime sessions, and almost 500 braving the cold and snow to join us for the public session.
