What’s your role at Turbo Systems Engineering?

I am the Marketing & Hire Manager here at Turbo.

How did you get started in your career?

I originally started out in sales within the plastic fabrication sector. My focus was mainly on managing and developing established brands. Over time, this naturally evolved into a broader marketing and business development focus.

What do you love most about working at Turbo Systems?

Without a doubt, it's the people. We have a brilliant team with a real mix of experience and personality. Every day brings something different; there is never a dull moment!

What’s a project or achievement you’re most proud of?

Recently, I had the opportunity to interview Ramona Hazan, the owner of RAMONA's. We explored her journey into food automation. It was fantastic to hear first-hand how Turbo Systems helped introduce her business to automated production. This step played a key role in scaling and growing her brand. Seeing a customer succeed as a result of what we do is incredibly rewarding.

Essential Skills and Tools

What skills or tools can’t you live without in your job?

My computer and mobile are essential. They keep me connected to customers, the team, and everything happening across our projects.

Personality & Fun

How would your teammates describe you in three words?

Very enthusiastic person.

What’s one fun fact most people don’t know about you?

Back in 2008, I was live on TV for three hours on the show Soccer AM as part of the Hull City Fans of the Week. It was a brilliant experience and something I will never forget.

Coffee or tea, and how do you take it?

Black coffee with two sugars.

What’s your go-to productivity song or playlist?

The Rocky IV soundtrack!

If you could switch jobs with someone on the team for a day, who would it be and why?

I would choose Andy Gray. The reason is to be closer to the photocopier!

Outside of Work

What’s your favourite way to spend a weekend?

I enjoy spending time with our granddaughter and watching Hull City. #utt

What’s a hobby or interest you’re passionate about?

I absolutely love cooking. I make a mean lasagne.

What’s something on your bucket list?

I want to go to Las Vegas.

If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go?

I would go to the Maldives.
